SHAYKH DR MUHAMMAD SAID RAMADAN AL BOUTI
Born in 1929 in the village of Jilka, which belongs to the island of Butan, i.e. Ibn Umar, situating inside the Turkish boundaries, north of Iraq. He immigrated to Damascus with his late father, Mulla Ramadan when he was four years old. Completed his legal secondary study in the Institute of Islamic Guidance in Damascus, and joined the faculty of religion at Al-Azhar University. He acquired The International Certificate there in 1955. Next year, he joined the faculty of Arabic at Al-Azhar, too and acquired education Diploma at the end of the same year. Appointed as dean in the faculty of religion at Damascus University in 1960, and deputed to Al-Azhar University to attain doctorate in the roots of the Islamic law. He could acquire the relevant certificate in 1965. Appointed as instructor in the college of law of Damascus University in 1965, as a deputy of the college later on and as its dean then as a the chief of the Department of tenets and religions at Damascus University. Participated, and is still participating, in many global conferences and symposia, and is, in addition, a member in the royal society of the Islamic Civilization Researches in Amman, and member in the higher board of Oxford academy. The Shaykh Speaks Arabic, Turkish and Kurdish well, and fair in English. Wrote no less than forty books on the sciences of religion, literature, philosophy and sociology, the problems of civilization and others.


IMAM ZAID SHAKIR

Imam Zaid Shakir was born in Berkeley, California in 1956, the second of seven children. Most of his formative years were spent in public housing projects where he was able to experience a rich childhood. Upon completion of high school, he completed one year of college. However, his higher education was temporally halted due to a tragic death in his immediate family. He subsequently entered the US Air Force in 1976, where he resumed his university education, and accepted Islam in 1977. Upon completing his military service, he enrolled at American University, Washington, DC, where he obtained a BA in International Relations with honors in 1983. In 1986 he obtained an MA in Political Science from Rutgers University. After spending a year in Cairo, he became a lecturer in Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut, a position he held until 1994 when he bade farewell to academia and left for Syria to study Arabic and Islamic Sciences.
Imam Zaid also studied the traditional sciences of Islam in Morocco. He served as the Imam of Masjid al-Islam in New Haven, Connecticut from 1988 until 1994. He has lectured extensively on Islam, Middle East Politics, and issues related to African Americas. He has written for numerous Islamic publications, and has appeared on national television for Lou Gosset, Jr.'s "The Story of a People."


SIDI MUHAMMAD UMAR AL BUDALLY:
Sidi Muhammad Umar al Budally is the founding director of Abu Hanifah Institute, he as studied under some of the most learned scholars alive, in the UK he studied with Shaykh Muhammad al Yazdani, Alama Muhammad Ismail Misbahi (Shaykh Yazdani father). In Mauritania he studied with Alama Shaykh Muhammad Salim Adood of Umm al Qurra, Shaykh Abdur Rahman, Shaykh Abdullah as Shanketi, Shaykh Ahmad Fall As Shanketi, in Morocco he studied with As Shaykh Alama Abdul Wadood al Maliki, and also studied with Shaykh Hafidt Hasan bin Siddiq al Ghumari, he currently dedicates his time in spreading the message of Islam for the sake of Allah. He currently lives in Rochdale and Oldham.

AS SHAYKH MUFTI ABDUR RAHMAN WELD HAJJ HAFIDULLAH
Shaykh Alama Mufti Abdur Rahman bin Muhammad bin Salek bin Fahfu. Is one of the greatest Ulema living today, His Noble father is more known in the west as the Noble Shaykh Murabit Al Hajj. Shaykh Abdur Rahman is from the tribe of Massumi who trace their lineage back to the Himyar tribe of Yemen. The Shaykh himself comes from a long line of scholars and his father is known throughout Mauritania and the world for his knowledge and piety.

Shaykh Abdur Rahman is the senior son of Shaykh Murabit al Hajj, the Shaykh from a young age memorized the Quran and studied the sciences of reading the Quran. He then started studying Maliki Fiqh, he memorized and mastered all the major texts in the Maliki Fiqh such as Akhdari, Ibn Ashir, the Risala of Ibn Abi Zaid, Ashalul Masalik, Nathmu Muqadimaati ibn Rushd, and the Mukhtasar of Sidi Khalil and many more.

He then started studying Arabic Grammar and Morphology, very soon the Shaykh memorized and mastered nearly all the major classical texts such as Ajromiyah, Lamia tul Afaal, Qatru Nada, Mulhat al 'Iraab and the Alfiyyah of Ibn Malik. In aqidah, he mastered the Ash'ari creed using the texts of Imam Ash Sharnubi, Imam al Bulaym, Jawahar at Tawhid, and Idaah as well as other texts.

The Shaykh is not only a master in the Maliki Fiqh, which is the official Mathab of Mauritania, but is a master in all the three Mathabs, Hanafi, Shafi, and Hambali. The Shaykh is an expert in every Islamic disciplines.

The Shaykh as served as an Imam and Mufti in Abu Dhabi, and currently lives with his family and children in the old quarters of Granada, Spain.

May Allah (swt) preserve the Shaykh and grant him and his noble Father and Family a long and health Life Ameen.

SHAYKH DR GIBRIL FOUAD AL HADDAD

Dr. Gibril Fouad Haddad was born in Beirut in 1380/1960. He embraced Islam while a graduate student at Columbia University in New York. Most Muslims in the West are already familiar with Dr.Haddad's prolific writings and translations of numerous classical books, such as:

Ibn Khafif's Al-'Aqida al-Sahiha (Correct Islamic Doctrine),
Al-Bayhaqi's Al-Asma' wal-Sifat (The Divine Names and Attributes),
Ibn 'Abd al-Salam's Al-Mulha fi I'tiqad Ahl al-Haqq (The Belief of the People of Truth),
'Abd al-Khaliq's Hujjiyyat al-Sunna (The Sunna as Evidence), and many others.

He currently lives in Damascus, Syria where he has studied fiqh,
hadith, and 'aqida for the past five years.


SHAYKH MUHAMMAD YAZDANI MISBAHI
As Shaykh Alama Muhammad al Yazdani Misbahi Al Hanafi is a Hanafi Faqih (Jurist) who grew up in Rochdale UK. Under the supervision of his father the noble Shaykh Muhammad Ismaiel Misbahi al Hanafi he received primary education in the sciences of Islam, the Shaykh then was admitted to study with Shaykh Imaad Hussain Pirzada Al Hanafi and Shaykh Abdul Bari Al Hanafi, from this institute the sheikh received a large amount of sacred and orthodox knowledge, then he enrolled at one of the most recognised Institutes in the whole of India, Jamia tul Ashrafia of Mubarakpur UP, India.

From this Jamia the Shaykh received literally libraries amount of knowledge, he studied not only Fiqh but also Seerah, Usul al Fiqh and mainly Hadith, he has studied nearly all the six sahihs and has received various Ijaza (Orthodox Certificates) from the great respected Ulema from Jamia tul Ashrafia, one of his speciality is the teaching of one of the greatest books ever written on Hanafi Fiqh The Noor al Idaah of most noble Imam, Imam Abu Aklash Hasan Wafae As Sharambolali (RA), he has a Isnaad (chain of narration) in Fiqh going back to Al Imam al Azam Abu Hanifah Numan Ibn Thabit Al Kufi, he also has various Sanaads in other sciences such as Hadith. Shaykh Yazdani took his Ijaza (orthodox Certificates) in Hadith, Fiqh and various other Sciences from The Muhadith of his time, the most noble, and learned As Shaykh Alama Mufti Shareef ul Haq Al Amjadi al Hanafi (may Allah have mercy on his soul).

The Shaykh as also studied at the well know and most oldest Jamia in the Muslim world, Jamia Al Azhaar in Cairo, he has also graduated from The Alexandria University in Alexandria, he has a BSE in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Manchester, a MA degree in Islamic Studies from the University of SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), London and is currently finishing his LLB in Law from the University of Manchester and a PGC in teaching.

Shaykh Yazdani as Been Imam in Various locations in the UK such as Hounslow Jamia Masjid, he has also served as Imam at SOAS University (School of Oriental and African Studies) in London UK, Manchester, Bolton, Oldham. The Shaykh Currently teaches Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, Aqeedah and other Sciences in the UK, he currently resides in London, where he serves has a Imam at The Mosque and Islamic Centre of Brent, may Allah preserve, reward and give a long and healthy life to the Shaykh and his noble Father and his noble family Ameen
